identity design
fall 2021
I had the opportunity to collaborate with the National Youth Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY), the world's largest film festival for young filmmakers. The nonprofit is launching its first-ever filmmaker summit, bringing together the film community to share career advice in a series of panels, roundtables, and workshops. I was tasked with creating an original visual identity for all the Summit materials that both existed within and expanded on NFFTY's brand.
Within the larger summit identity, organizers also requested distinct graphics that represented the three unique educational tracks that filmmakers could participate in.
Track #1 CREATE
answering the big questions about why you want to be a filmmaker and what kind of stories you want to tell
Track #2 ADVANCE
tips and tools on how to up your game as a filmmaker
Track #3 LAUNCH
get comfortable putting yourself out there as a professional filmmaker, and get some insight into making career moves in the industry

This animated trailer was used to promote the summit and introduce the programming each day.  This short 15-second clip had to encapsulate the ideas, tone, and important information about the event in an engaging way.

A digital program was needed to organize summit content, provide helpful information, and orient attendees throughout the multi-day event. The full 34-page program can be viewed here.
I created a number of social media posts, templates, and photo frames so organizers could create their own promotional content inside the design system I created.
